Coriell Institute for Medical Research於1953年設立於美國紐澤西，為一獨立之非營利研究機構，初期主軸為人類基因體之研究，並協助Human Genome Project進行。近年來由於Personalized medicine之觀念逐漸興起，Coriell Institute for Medical Research也將重心轉向幹細胞及iPSC之研究。Coriell Institute for Medical Research在美國國家衛生研究院的資助下設立了Biobank，提供豐富的生物資源，包含NIGMS、NINDS等國家研究機構存入之induced pluripotent stem cell、NIA提供之mouse embryonic stem cell，及其他細胞株等。 |
